Wash Your Hands!

I know this sounds like common sense, but seriously folks. Wash your hands with soap and water. It should take you the length of singing the “Happy Birthday Song”. Go For A Walk

It is believed that physical activity may help flush bacteria out of the lungs and airways. Exercise slows down the release of stress hormones. Some stress increases the chance of illness. By decreasing stress you may protect against illness. Moderate exercise has been shown to be the most effective. Take a 20 minute walk, go for a bike ride, go to the gym every other day.

During the day rub a drop or two in the palms of your hands and inhale to ease your mood or shake off that meeting that ran entirely too long.

Have a tension headache? Rub a little peppermint oil on your temples to help clear your head with its cooling sensations and ability to open your sinuses and airways.

Gray days of winter have you down? Use a few drops of lemon oil to awaken your senses and brighten your day. Add a drop or two to your water to liven it up and act as a natural detox. You can even use it diluted to clean surfaces.
