Open to all practitioners of healing modalities such as Reiki, acupuncture, yoga, massage therapy.

The purpose of this webinar is to encourage thoughtfulness around different areas of practice and the ethical considerations that may apply. We will cover:

  • Ethics in other professions, using acupuncture and massage therapy as examples
  • Informed consent
  • Dual relationships
  • Trust
  • Abuse
  • When to refer to other care providers
  • Terminating a client
  • Compensation
  • Ethics pertaining to business practices
  • Discussion of different scenarios and ideas on how to manage them

Note: Completion of Ethics of Energy Medicine is a prerequisite for Traditional Japanese Shinpiden, Reiki Level 3.

Teri Calandra, Dipl. Acu, L.Ac., MSTOM, LMT, RMT

Teri Calandra, Dipl. Acu, L.Ac., MSTOM, LMT, RMT is licensed by the state of Illinois in acupuncture (L.Ac.) and massage therapy (LMT). She is board certified through NCCAOM and NCBTMB. She holds a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, and herbology from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Chicago. Teri is a continuing education provider for NCCAOM, and a Reiki teacher. She practices and teaches Reiki in the lineage of  the International House of Reiki, and is a member of Shibumi International Reiki Association.
