Description

Reiki Play Day: Explore How to Incorporate Reiki into Everyday Life.

Open to everyone- all Reiki levels and lineages welcome!

$20 suggested donation at the door

Reiki Play Day (RPD) gatherings are offered three times in 2027. Come as often as you like!

Come revel in the energy of Reiki and discover how this powerful healing practice can become a way of being.

Reiki is not just a powerful healing modality, it is a way of being.

Reiki Play Day is a welcoming, supportive gathering for anyone interested in Traditional Japanese Reiki, meditation, self-discovery, spiritual growth, and connecting with a Reiki community. Through guided meditations, discussion, chanting, and playful exploration, we’ll delve deeper into Reiki, the journey toward True Self, and how to be the energy in everyday life.

What to Expect

  • Guided Reiki meditations
  • Reiki discussions and opportunities to ask questions
  • Chanting and contemplative practices
  • Exploration of the Reiki Precepts
  • Practical applications of how to bring the practice into your life
  • Time for sharing, reflection, and self-discovery
  • A supportive community environment

Please note, unlike at a “Reiki share,” we won’t be doing hands-on Reiki treatments of others.

Whatever your level or lineage of Reiki practice, we hope you will join us to delight in the energy and supportiveness of practicing Reiki as a community. What new things are possible when we experience the joy of playful exploration and discovery together?

Come with curiosity. Come with questions. Come ready to explore.

New to Reiki? No problem, we welcome your participation!

You do not need to be an experienced Reiki practitioner to participate. Whether you are completely new to Reiki or have practiced for years, all levels and Reiki lineages are welcome.

There will be ample time for sharing and asking questions.

Traditional Japanese Reiki in the lineage of Usui Reiki Ryoho is the system of Reiki practiced and taught at CCHW. Teri Calandra is a registered practitioner and teacher with the Shibumi International Reiki Association. Shibumi members focus on working with the Japanese origins of Reiki as the foundation of their practice. The association provides education guidelines for its members and the general public, to foster a better understanding of what it means to practice the system of Reiki from a Japanese perspective.

We do ask that you not attend if you are having any symptoms of illness that day.
