Ja’Nelle is a board-certified herbalist, licensed acupuncturist and NCCAOM diplomate, with a Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Ja’Nelle specializes in using Chinese Medicine assessment techniques to design customized herbal formulas for patients, treating conditions such as insomnia, digestive upsets, energetic and emotional imbalances, menstrual discomforts, fertility support, discomforts during pregnancy, and chronic illness. She is a natural problem-solver, always questioning why things work or don’t work, and using the results to fine-tune her understanding and treatment recommendations.
Her love of herbal medicine germinated during the years Ja’Nelle spent working as a nutritional sales consultant, immersing herself in the study of natural supplements and personal care items. That experience, together with her subsequent training as an acupuncturist and herbalist, has given her a depth of experience and knowledge which she also applies to suggesting natural solutions for personal and home care.
Ja’Nelle received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2002 and has worked as an office manager and administrative assistant. In her free time, she loves spending time in the sunshine at the beach, attending theater & comedy, and visiting with her friends & family.
